Check the classifieds for a set of triumph saddlebag supports (not cheap) or look for a set of honda magna supports- forget the year, but someone else will chime in. Or cut off the center yoke and get a set of ez brackets.

for throwover bags you can use Hoda Magna brackets - usually around $50 I think. oops, $85 from accessories international. web page

EZ-brackets mount permanently to the bags but clip off and on the bike. I would search around for both types on ebay etc.

I made the mistake of buying Honda Magna brackets from my local Honda dealer. The brackets were special order from a catalog and bolted on the America just fine; however, the bracket was too short and didn't provide enough side support for the bags. It was about half the length of the bracket in Bill's picture. They also cost $80 plus tax!

So I sent the brackets back for a full refund and bought some EasyBrackets from Fast Eddy. Cost a bit more, but are worth every penny.

The only issue I've had is that my kit included mismatched rear posts...one was too short so the front and rear posts wouldn't align. Dave at EasyBrackets mailed me another from their stock and it was too short too! But he put another long one in the mail yesterday. He said they have had a problem with mislabeled inventory which have now been fixed. Hopefully no one else will get the wrong posts.

Easy Eddy and Dave at EasyBrackets are great guys and a pleasure to work with.

If you have to buy new and it's $80 vs $145 for the easy brackets, they are pretty nice.

Get the prices right, there is a guy on Ebay that sells the EZ Brackets for $129 including shipping. They aren't always listed just have to watch. Nice thing about the EZ Brackets is the bike is nice and clean when you don't want the bags on there and it is a simple twist of the key to remove them or put them on. Plus there would be no center strap to scratch anything.

I just installed easy brackets on my '07 and I love them. I matched them up with a pair of Saddlemen Drifter bags.
