Sorry to hear about your hand Bill. You need some way to acturate the clutch without using the lever on the left handlebar correct? Don't know of any options for the hand lever. I've seen some jockey shift levers that were fabricated but nothing for the clutch.

Maybe you could adapt something like this lever and perch to work above the front brake in the same fashion as the stunt boys set up their rear brakes over the clutch on those stunt bikes. That's assuming that you weren't asking about a jockey shift setup.

Jockey shift foot clutch would be fairly easy to set up.

I agree, I just wasn't sure that's where he was headed.

Me either that's why I didn't sggest it when I read it the first time. I think what you suggested is probably more along the lines he had in mind. Good idea by the way, Never heard of that before.

I haven't seen a clutch done that way but they've been doing a rear brake lever for stunt bikes as a piggyback on top of the clutch "perch" for a while. No reason you couldn't do something similar with the clutch and the throttle.

Hi Ed, missed you at the Rally.
Aren't the control locations codified? Meaning will the law frown upon such a modification or does the ADA come into play?
To heck with conventions. I would make the mod till my left paw healed up.

Yeah, my three hours in Dahlonega just whet my appetite for more
You're very correct on the control locations per manufacturer's spec and while it may run afoul of a DOT inspection I don't think it would be an issue precisely due the the ADA.

Not to mention I doubt a cop would bother you about it in the short term. Not sure what controls are mandated but I do know there is a law about the foot shift being on the left on modern bikes. Don't know if that extends to the owner or just the manufacturer though.
