When I talk to the service manager I'd kind of like to sound like I know what I'm talking about instead of pointing to the side of the engine and saying that doohickey right there is leaking oil!

I was kind of thinking the same thing. If you start having more problems might start thinking lemon if they can't be straightened out. I would go over the whole thing and make sure everything is tight, especially check the steering head bearings.

Here's a document I put together in October, 2006 for site use.

It contains all the exploded diagrams from BB and associated nomenclature. Prices listed are also from 2006 BTW.

The document is in .pdf format and a little over 9Mb in size, so be patient when downloading it.

There is no copyright violation:

Exploded Diagrams for entire America, circa 2006

Regards,

Tom

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help, I'm certainly not ready to give up on the old girl yet, just having some teething pains. Like I told my Harley riding buddies...Suffering is just part of the Triumph experience.....but their laughter is still ringing in my ears as they rode away and told me " If tou ever get your Triumph runnin' you'll have to go riding with us! HA HA HA "
