Just wanted to introduce myself, I just received shipment of my brand new 2007 TBA, I took advantage of Triumph's promotion of $1000 in free accessories and got the follwing items, the roadster windsheild, TOR long pipes, short backrest and luggage rack, I also had the air injection removed and the pilot and main jets increased one size. I absolutely love the bike, I have read alot of debate concerning choice of pipes and proper jetting, but I think the sound of the pipes strikes o good balance between a healthy rumble and not rattling the neighbors windows every time I leave the house. This is the eighth motorcycle Ive owned and my second Triumph, the other was a 1976 Bonneville. I have only had my bike for five days and Ive got some problems, I will post some questions in the technical forum, please give them a look and let me know if you've encountered them. Anyway glad to finally get my bike and to be able to participate in these forums. P.s. I will post pictures if I can figure out how.( I may have to find a kid to do it for me)

Welcome Robert.
Check out the Southwest Triumph Fest thread in the rides forum.

If you can make it up, there'll be a lot of experience in attendance. Might help you get your issues sorted. Of course, you're still under warranty, so no need to go postal.

Yeah, yeah, I know; not original at all.
I just wanted to beat Dwight to it

$1000 dollars oh you poor bloke. That is only the start beware of Eddy or Brent the road to ruination lies heavily upon their shoulders. You will start off with a couple of shiny bits and then more shiny bits. Then this shower will start with oh have you seen / tried this product, before you know it the credit card has been roasted. Welcome to the most addictive web site on the net.

Welcome as well. You've got the best color TBA as well. I'm still trying to find the same model year/color to replace my old bike (don't ask).
Enjoy the forum & your bike, support Brent and Eddy, go to Prescott and ride safe (please wear all your gear).

I know what you mean about Fast Eddy and it being only the beginning. Fast Eddy already has some of my money, I'm adding Saddlemen Drifter saddlebags with Easy Bracket mounts. And then maybe some driving lights and then.....

God we are all so predictable a new bike a heavy out lay of cash on the initial bling accessories and then a constant attempt to perfect perfection.....Triumph really missed the point with our bikes. I dont think I have heard any body say on this site that they will leave the bike totally stock. Every body does some modding along the way. Our bikes are extremely iconic and I dont think Triumph get that idea.

Good point. It's probably a toss on who holds the crown for most employees gone nuts, postal workers or air traffic controllers. Of course, they don't call it "going postal" for nothing...

Yep, Robert. Definitely would be great to have ya join in on the fun up in Prescott if ya can!

And if you decide to show up, the rest of us might be out back behind the house partying it up, and so be sure to ring twice!

I hear that's what you postmen always do anyway, right?! Well, according to John Garfield it is anyway!

(I had to try and top bigbill here, ya know)

Oh, and BTW...WELCOME to the site!!!

Welcome aboard Mailman. This truly is a great place. Which dealership did you get your ride? I bought my America from the Scotsdale dealer while I was living in San Diego (quite a story actually).

You'll love your ride, you'll love the site and if you're not on one then you'll be on the other!

2005 America, green/gray, gutted stock pipes, tall sissy bar w/ luggage rack, Saddleman's dual touring seat and Tourmaster saddlebags (and sissybar bag).

I got my bike from Baxter Cycle in Iowa, they were willing to take my 1976 Bonneville in trade. That was the only reason That I bought out of state. It kind of complicates getting warranty work done, although Phoenix Intn'l. Motorsports has been good about working with me so far...
