As it is raining today and hunger is sending me to the store I may burn another gallon up today.

Save the fuel ..order Pizza

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams

Good idea. I want to see how long I can go before I have to fuel up the cage.

Last year I went from early May until late August without putting gas in the Blazer. With all the rain we've been having this year it looks like that will be impossible this time however.

Over 90 days?? A Blazer?? That seems a challenge I'll have to try to live up to (I drive a little car)!

Make 'm walk.

I think it was a couple of summers ago, I eneded up having to jump the car because I was able to let it sit for a couple of months and take the bike everywhere.

Here in W.Pa. we have emissions testing on our cages if we put more than 5000 miles a year on them. Since 03, when I got my TA, I've got an emissions exemption on my truck each year since it gets less than 5000 miles per...

HOWEVER! I've had to replace the brake lines and parking brake cables since they rotted and froze up... and rust is eating it up in other places as well.

I'm not saving any money here...

I go three to four months without driving my truck. I have gotten into the habit of hooking up a trickle charger to its battery once a month just so it does not leave me in the lurch should I need it.

The Blazer didn't get out much. I put over 10,000 miles on the bike last year. I cheated a little too. Whenever both my wife and I had to go somewhere we took her Focus. Since I sold the Blazer and bought a Mini Cooper we take it instead of her car since it's a LOT more fun to drive and still gets 30+ MPG.

I bet it is more fun than the Blazer too!

30+ MPG???
I run a '72 Buick with a 455ci motor and at UK prices (£5 per gallon - that's about $10 per gallon my friends!!!!), it's no fun!!
Lucky my Merc gets around 25 MPG round town and about 30 on a run
