Thre is a dealer locator on the Davida site. Looks like the only have 4 dealers in the US. This is greatly reduced from the number of dealers they had last year. The closest on to you is a Vespa dealer in New York city.

Actually the Custom is a Laura Smith helmet, not a Momo. I tried the Mini Momo and it did not fit me well. Helmets are a very personal thing. I also have a Nolan N102. I like the Nolan brand and they have good cutomer service. My girlfriend has the N30 and liked it. All depends on the look you are going for.

I love my Davida lid.... Not cheap but I find it cuts most of the wind noise out, and while really tight for the first 2 weeks or so is like a glove after that. And they have as British a heritage as your bike.

03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel...
06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel...
09 America - It's very blue....

Like Gina, I've had a DaVida 3/4 lid the past ~5 years. It's quiet (windnoise), the leather lining fit is excellent, the size is less than "Marvin the Martian" proportions, so I like that also. I don't know firsthand about the other brands you mention, I know they are reputable. http://www.british-classics.com/ I was hesitant about mail ordering a helmet, but when the first one didn't fit, they exchanged for a size larger, no questions. I'd order from them again Good luck jh

I have several (6 or 7)open faced helmets ... my two cents on the Momos:
I have the Momo Fighter model. The build quality is fine. The windshield is crap - bad wind protection (aerodynamics and leaks from top and especially bottom due to not being plush???) and the shield sort of pushes down on your nose.
Momos are not built by MOMO but by Bell (Italy) or Bieffe (I think it's BELL).
Most important - they're extremely hot in warm weather (for speeds up to 50mph/80kph) and have no ventilation. Practically speaking ... it's a designer helmet and nothing more. I wouldn't buy one again.
Amongst all my open helmets, the best is a Nolan N41 - it's well built and HAS ventilation.

Looks like you may be out of luck if you are looking for a DOT version.
You searched for 'caberg usa' Here are some results for the search term on this website
DOT approved Caberg Helmets are no longer available in the USA. DOT approved Caberg Helmets are no longer available in the USA. cabergUSA , Entered at 20:22 on March 28, 2008 Caberg has stopped exporting their DOT approved helmets into the USA.
In 2005 Nichols Motorcycle Supply began distributing Caberg Helmets into the United States. In August of 2007, Nichols officially severed their relationship with the Caberg manufacturer. During the 2 years Nichols was supplying US Retailers with Caberg helmets, they were not keeping up with the high demand for the Caberg line. Retailers and their customers were becoming frustrated with frequent stock shortages and delays bringing new stock into the country.
Why did they eventually stop? COST. Because the value of the US Dollar is significantly lower than the EU Euro, European products are much more expensive to import compared to products manufactured in countries like China. For a US Distributor to properly profit from importing a European made helmet line, the helmets would have to retail for an amount that would not seem reasonable to most US Consumers.

That list cant really be right. My Triumph dealer stocks and sells Davida helmets. They have been for quite a long time.
