Hi All
Thanks for the response.....Plenty of good advice.

I was considering buying the unit that Brent sells unfortunately last time I ordered parts from America I got hit with £18.00 import duty on goods that totalled £59.00.
As it happened (as suggested by Bill) I had a spare 12v buzzer from an alarm system lying around so I decided to give that a bash. The buzzer has 2 wires (red and black).
At this stage I didn’t want to start cutting wires on the bike so the connections were far from ideal.
I removed the console and pushed the wires of the buzzer into the 2 contacts of the bulb holder...switched on the left indicator and bingo a very loud audible warning. I then switched the right indicator on........silence.......
I then changed the position of the wires coming from the buzzer and fitted then to the opposite terminals in the bulb holder........right indicator on a loud audible warning ......left indicator silence.
With the switching arrangement, will I need 2 buzzer’s one for the indicators on the left and another for the ones on the right?
The wiring to the indicator warning bulb consists of 1 green wire and the other wire is green and black.....if I cut these splice them together with the wires from the buzzer will this operate the buzzer for both left and right indicators?
I have included a photo of the buzzer that I intend to use....I thinks it was £2.50 from Maplins. It looks very similar to the one in Gina’s link to Jenks.
I hope this makes sense.....electrics ain't relly my thing

Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to respond.
John
