Hi,

Hope someone can help with this. The maintenance chart says that we should drain the airbox hose at 4, 8, 12, and 16 thousand miles. I just hit the 4k mile mark and wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to do this.

Thanks,
Ron

There should be 4 hoses hanging under your bike on the left side near where the swing arm attaches. 2 will have squirrel condoms in them (like the rubber caps on your carbs/intake manifolds). You have to "milk" them out of the hoses and let any sludge or crud drain out. You might even want to shoot a little Brakleen up each one to clean them out better.
Put the sc's back in and you're done.

More flags More fun!
