I ordered a Chrome Foot Control Bar from my dealer. It came today, but when I picked it up there were no instructions. The mechanic told me they do not come with instructions, which I find hard to believe. Does anyone have any instructions? I am mainly concerned about torque specs.

Check the downloads section there is a PDF in there with almost if not all bolt torque specs. (it's at the very bottom of the page)

I imagine it'd be a case of "unbolt everything attached to the bar, unbolt the bar, bolt the new bar on and bolt everything back onto the bar."

All torque specs neatly converted to Ft-lbs are in the "Download" section of the Home page. Very handy.

Accessories not coming with instructions is normal. They expect all the work to be done by the dealer. Where's the fun in that?

Got to disagree with that, every accessory I have bought has had instuctions, even the pillion seat rack! ( undo pillion bolt, remove pillion seat, fit rack, replace seat bolt)

Just unbolt the old and on with the chrome. I've got one. No torque required, just snug it down good.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke .

I will probably end up doing that, but the kit includes a pin about an inch long. I have no idea what that cat is for...

That "roll pin" is to locate and keep the rear brake mounting assembly from pivoting on the mounting bolt.
