Hey guys,
Seems I saw somewhere that one of the aftermarket places was coming out with nice, cleaner looking set of header pipes for the America/SM models. Seems they were suppose to be available this summer. Anybody have any imput on this? Thanks for any info.
Regards,
Stan

That was Specialty Spares, but so far I haven't seen any sign they are available. Did just notice a picture of my bike on their website for the Long Cannons:

Alabama Al,
25-30 miles north of B'ham in Blount County, between Warrior and Hayden. Been a while since I've been down your way. Maybe we'll cross paths somewhwere down the road. Have a nice day,
Stan

ssJones,
Yeah, that's who it was. Wonder what the delay is. Sure would be nice to have some cleaner looking headers, wouldn't it? Thanks much,
Stan

I contacted Specialy Spares a couple of weeks ago and they're still working on it. It would be nice to have a clean set of header pipes so I'll keep an eye on their website.

A clean set of pipes would be REAL nice, especially since I have the older, even ugluer heat shield setup. AND some stainless headers to match my stainless pipes would be even better!
