I just walked out into the garage and removed my headlight bezel, disconnected the wiring from the bulb and removed the rubber sheld from the bulb, but I saw no "spring".
Are you talking about the clip that holds the halogen bulb fast to the housing?
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I guess what we got here is failure to...yeah you know.
Tom has posted a picture of the spring placement of the headlight lens, and I'm talking about the bulb securer.
So...which is it Jonathan???

I figured it out, it is the spring that holds the Halogen bulb in place. The flat part of spiring goes into the metal slot punched into the metal. Thanks for the help.
