Did you install them yourself? If so, how difficult are they to install?

If you can hold a wrench in each hand you can install them. Easy.
Having a torque wrench handy is a bonus.

slloyd, took about 30 minutes to remove footpegs and install floorboards--if you can read and identify parts [judging from your profession, i'm betting you can] its a two beer job. i ordered them here-- triumph floorboards OEM parts a snap to work with, i like to use a dab of lock tite & white grease where needed. It is not electrical or internal--do not be intimidated!

Thanks! That site is a much better price than my dealer, too.

How hard is it to find and drop the kickstand with the floorboards on the bike?

The floor boards flip up out of the way. That said, it is a bit of a stretch for my 32" inseam but I do it so it must not be too bad.

I just installed mine today. Took about one hour and half of that was figuring out the directions!

Installing floorboards was my first mod. 29" inseam/10.5" feet and I don't have any problem hooking the tang of the sidestand with my toe. It's definitely more of a stretch but I've gotten used to it.

I wear 32" length trousers....and have stupidly small feet - US size 6or7 I think, UK size 4 or 5.
I do have a problem with the stand with the boards on, but only if I wear the wrong shoes....if I wear shoes/boots with big cleats then I don't have a problem.
I've also developed a knack...

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Yah, when I bought my bike I saw one with floorboards and I thought whoah, not me, that's my UNCLE's motorcyle. I succumbed quickly though - I am a geezer.
