i am now using mobil vtwin 20/50 oil but it is now 8.95 a quart i am thinking about going to mobil 1 15/50 full syn. car oil any one using this oil if so any problems with clutch slipping or anything with the motor, car oil 22.50 a gallon big diffenece in price thanks for any help.

Have to watch friction modifiers, they aren't good for the clutch. Thats why I stick to motorcycle oils designed for a wet clutch. You can use car oils but they need a certain rating but I can't remember the letter codes but I know some of the guys here can.

The 15-50 car oil until recently carried the sj sl ok for motorcycle use api label. You can still find some old stock from time to time. Whether they actually changed the formula with the new stock is anybodys guess. I have used it for a couple of years with no clutch slipping. I bought my local wal-mart out of the old stock a while back. It was going for Ten dollars for a five quart jug.
