Hi everyone,
I posted this last summer but never solved the problem. I installed the Kurakyn silver bullet halogen rear signals on my 06 America. They look great but I can't get them to work properly. I wired the single hot wire to the respective hot wire on the bike and then grounded the other wire to the frame and it blows a fuse. Can anyone tell me exactly how to wire this? I gave up last summer but now it's getting warm here in Chicago and I've got the itch again. Thanks

Sounds like you grounded the hot wire and wired the ground to the light.

I took the bike out today and the left turn signal works but the right just stays solid. Anyone have any ideas?

I replaced the stock signals with some shorter stem pieces a couple weeks ago. As I recall, the right pos was a green/red wire and the left was a green/white? They both used a separate neg, black I think, but I didn't worry about it because the schematic said they went to a common ground. If you're using halogens, I don't see why it would really matter which wire on the light you choose to make pos. I'd be more concerned about higher current draw from a halogen.
