Just re jetted to 157.5's today. Couldn't take it out for a ride cause its freakin raining again and its the first day about 60 degrees in months. Fired it up in the garage though. Now the question. When reving the bike and holding it at about 5k for 30 sec. or so then letting off the throttle some small blue flames shoot out the tail pipes. Both sides pretty equal. Is this something that is sort of normal. Have not adjusted the air mixture screws yet cause I can't find the dang "D" tool I bought last year. According to Pat's jet calculator if anything I may still be a hair lean. Rest of the set up is the Freak,45 pilots and Epco's. Live in Worcester Ma. at about 400 feet above sea level.
My mind and body are still out of tune
I hope they run into each other real soon "

Worcester air is flamable.
I have epcos and freak and I think I'm at 155 but 42 pilots... Seems to fun fine. The fact that it happens off throttle tells me maybe the pilots are too rich. Might try playing with the screws first. I could also be way off base...

With 16" shorty mufflers and the AI still connected, I could get twin foot-long flames at shut-down by revving it up and then turning off the key. (Known as the FOOMP.)

Yeah, you're running rich. Mine used to do that too, and yes, it looks sort've cool... Prob need to drop the mainjet size down to a 155?
But yeah. Unburnt fuel.
