Gotta love e-bay - just picked up this tank for £50 ($95) + shipping!!!

I bid on it earlier, not really expecting to win, turns out everyone else was asleep ( or doing other things) cos no one else bid!!

Somehow I have managed to get two complete spare sets of "tins" - now just got to do something with them.

Very Cool Deal! Maybe you can get him to give up some details (and pics) of that bike he's building.

Excellent deal!

Did you guys also spot that old T120 Bobber with the America tank on it that the guy Shaun got his tank from also posted? From what I could see of it.....NICE!!!

Sure wish he'd have posted a few more pics of that too.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

They seems to been quite a few tanks on eBay over the recent months. Makes you wonder if Triumph are geering up for the new EFI tank.

I got one a while back brand new except for a little tiny dint which is hidden underneath the tank badges, I paid £60.00 for that including delivery.

You got a good deal on that one Shaun, my mrs asks me if I am building another bike in the garage, I think Shaun is to.

Righteous brother! I got me one of those for 100 bucks a year or so ago myself. Everyone was asleep back then too! For 100 bucks it makes great wall art when not in use.

Thats what I was looking at..at first i thought it was a modern bobber then i seen the engine. You dont see the new tank on the old bikes usually...especially with the stock dash intact and all....whats up with the gas cap?...

Thats an old school spike cap straight out of the 60s. I used to have one on my chopper. Looks goofy with the dash.
