Please do post some pictures. I'd love to cut my stock rear fender, but would rather replace it and save the stock piece. Also, if you have a clean tailight / Signal / plate mounting setup on a chopped fender I think a lot of people would be interested.

Let's talk about this air dam. What's going on in there? are those fins in there functional in some way or just decorative?

Wal, have you tested these fenders on 2-up riding? The one pic looks like it has the pillion mounting hole. Im sure some of the members here would like to know the the weight limit with the fiberglass compared to the steel fender. It seems like there would be alot of stress being put on the strut bolt holes. (especially on a bumpy road)
Is there any structural reinforcement, or are the fenders strictly for solo riders.

Hi, Yes the fender's have been tested two up, I weigh about 15 stone & there's been no damage to the fixing point's, they are thick fibreglass with an integral fabric layer in the lay up, that's used to make bomb proof litter bins. I Have done quite a few mile's now & with no problem's, both solo & two up, they come with stainless bolt's + penny washer's for the inside, with nylock nut's, so when fitted & tightened up there should be no movement. These are quite a heavy fender. Thank's Wal

hey Wal, whats 15 stone? converted to pounds maybe? I'd like to know how much weight to make them break for a ballpark maximum weight...im sure theres slight inconsistancies between each one of course...but ballpark what do you think?

1 Stone = 14 pounds 15 stone = 210 pounds 210 pounds = 95.2543 Kilograms If my maths are correct

Hi Brokenfixed, 1 stone = 14lbs so 15 stone's = 210 lbs. as for how much weight it would take to brake one, i don't know, how long's a piece of string. I would say you could get away with around 18 stone = 252 lbs bouncing on it. I would expect it's like everything though you would have to keep your eye on thing's, and make sure all the fixing's where tight.

A copy of the original rear fender (guard) without the indentations for the lights would be nice and would save me from doing anything to my original one

How much for the air dam, painted black? How does it attach, is it the same as the Triumph one?
