thats a nice looking bike, good luck with it and enjoy. the bonneville and the america/speedmaster are very similar with some differences, we can help with some things but the rat.net site is more for just the bonnys

Nice looking bike. Hope you hang around here because we like the regular Bonnie too.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Welcome to the site, enjoy the bike.
I have several friends that have the Bonneville and Bonneville T100. One friend has the Silver Jubilee (1977) Bonnie, and Golden Jubilee (2002) Bonnie. They look really nice next to each other.

Welcome, thats my favorite color on those bikes. Youir engine is 360 degree fire while ours is 270 degrees. Your frame and front end are different and the list goes on. You are welcome here just pointing stuff out so you don't start reading and try something on your scoot that just wouldn't work. Couple guys on here have similar bikes so it isn't a not welcome thing just a friendly warning so you don't make a mistake.
Once again welcome, love the color, nice scoot.

My first bike was a 2001 Green Bonnie Standard. LOVED that bike... Also invested in the Corbin Smuggler. At the time I bought it, the price was $500... Now, they're like $700 http://corbin.com/triumph/bonnevillesmuggler.shtml

Nothing wrong with the Bonnies. After all they are the parent bike to our Americas and Speedmasters. If I had to have(or could afford)I would love to have Thrux or a semi Thruxed Bonnie."sigh" So many Triumphs so little money!

Don't I know it... My friend let me borrow his Speed Triple over the weekend... I've already started putting a bit of money away so that a S3 can be my next bike...
