And man does she shine like a new penny...

Just in time for the pine flowers to drop 6 inches of green-yellow dust on us. Maybe I will call the PODS people and get a temporary garage for the bike delivered to the office until it is over.

I wish....every time I think about going out and spending time cleaning the bike it rains. So there's no point. I'm just spending the time it's not raining making up the not riding for 3 months!

Maybe you could do it without thinking about what you are doing. Might work.

As for the local situation, it was nice enough for a ride yesterday, but I have a new pup to look after. Today, it is trying really hard to snow.

Even though I posted a bunch of stuff in the tales from the road thread, thought a couple gratuitous photos here from the ride today with the shiny girl would be in order:

Great looking bike and pics, Thom! But didn't you read the health warning in the manual? Over waxing can be hazardous and cause retinal damage to Harley owners who stare too long.

Wow. Blue and White is the way to go. Always catches the eye. Beautiful... and so much faster than the others too.

Nice bridge there , Thom , what's that shiny thing blocking the view ?

Qualifier - In the Southeastern US , we get pine tree pollen that literally turns EVERYTHING yellow if there's no rain . It flies up in clouds and puffs around your feet as you walk .

It leaves a silky - smooth feel without the discomfort of razor burn or those nasty little bumps .

Mainly to protect the paint and chrome from the environment (makes it hard for stuff to stick to the bike), but it also leads to a nice luster. Here is a link about waxing and getting ready to wax.
