What paint actually matches the black on the stock Speedmaster engine.Should I just use flat barbacue grill paint or header paint. So far I have painted the chain cover twice and it has been wrong twice.I would like something that matches somewhat. If I had the extra $$$$ I would maybe try the Bonneville cover.

Try a semi-flat rather than flat BBQ paint.

I found Krylon Fusion satin slightly too glossy, I agree with semi-flat. Probably a better match.
