I subscribe to Motorcycle Classics magazine and get their e-newsletter. The subject above was the title of the main story. It appears that the owner of the Museum, Dale Walksler is selling off a major portion of his collection and moving out of Maggie Valley NC. Motorcycle Classics  This is truly sad news if it's true. I visited there last October and thought it was an outstanding tribute to the history of motorcycles.

Here is the wheels through time website- wheels through time website says its moving to "expand it's horizons", I hope so - looks like an interesting place!

it is a pretty spiffy place. I'd like to have the Harley powered saw & airplane.
we should do this every weekend!

Sounds more like they are keeping what they have and looking for room to add more. Would be a real shame to break up that collection.

If it still there I will let you all know. I am planing on going to the thunder in the valley in April and was planing on stopping in. I went there a couple of years ago. It's a cool place, but they only have American bikes.
