One of the "Dragula" cars that was actually built by George Barris but not used on the Musters was on Ebay last year for a ridiculously low sum. I actually thought about purchasing it until I realized I had absolutely no place to put it.

its always funny to see what kinda futuristic car the people in the 70's/80's imagined there would be its even worse when they take a regular car and jazz it up to look futuristic like this ford probe in back to the future 2

How about the 1970 Dodge Charger from 'The Fast and The Furious'? Supercharged Hemi, aarrggghhhh! My favorite part, of course, is when it pulled a wheelie! Notice the car drifts to one side because the power twists the frame! A real action shot, no CGI crap.

I LOVED that car. The design holds up better than most. I used to watch that movie over and over again and fast forward through the bits that didn't have the car (Zod! that movie was horrible).

I watched The Pink Panther all the time but never knew there was a car. They ruined the cartoon when they made him talk later.

An obscure little movie, 'Two-Lane Blacktop', starring, of all people, James Taylor. The car was a '55 Chevy hot-rod with a 454, stripped down, fiberglass hood and trunk (I remember them having to take off the hood pins and two guys lifting off the hood). It was about two hot rodders driving around the country, taking on all comers. A cult classic.

Two-Lane Blacktop has become a cult classic. I saw it one time years ago on late-night TV. Missed a chance to get the DVD at Sam's because it was about $25. JT wasn't singing either but that '55' sure was I'm surprised that no one has'nt already mentioned the "General Lee" from "Dukes of Hazard" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKcIGPQST9s
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin
