May be a stupid question from a newbie but I was looking at Dinqua's page on changing the sprocket and was wondering how tight to get the chain tension when putting it back on. Must say for a newbie Dinqua's site is great, I rejetted the carbs and didn't take me more than an hour and a half, thanks buddy.

The chain tightening proceedures are in your owner's manual. Be sure you have the bike sitting on the ground (not jacked up) as the full weight needs to be on the back wheel while adjusting the chain. Also: The chain is better off a LITTLE loose than tight.

Haven't gotten the manual yet. If somebody has a minute and could relay those instructions to me, either here so everybody can see them or email them to me. Much appreciated. sebastianparker13@hotmail.com

He's talking owners manual, not shop manual... I believe the spec is about an inch of play in the bottom of the chain.

You'll need a good torque wrench and the proper size socket to do the adjustment.

Have fun.
