I am thinking about buying the Draggin kevlar shirt. Any input as far as fit, quality, opinions as to protection provided, etc..? I would greatly appreciate the input.
Thanks

Busch Stadium in ST Louis with the biggest Budweiser they sell in a little under a month= Happiness!!!

my buddy has the meshy overshirt that they sell. He keeps making jokes that he's going to wear only that under his jacket and then take off his jacket at the bar....

I worry about him sometimes. But I'll ask him about the fit. I know he hasn't tested the protection level...

I own a gold one shipped from Australia and a black one bought by my kids in the states somewhere.

Strangely enough, they are the same size, but:

The one from Australia is longer on the torso and tucks in better, but the sleeve length is shorter than its US cousin.

I don't find either hot in the summer (East Coast, US) with or without my Rochester summer jacket.

Not sure if I'd buy one again. Don't know what the kids paid for the black one, but the gold one from Australia was $99USD in 2005. They're pricey.

Regards,

Tom

Can't speak for the shirts but swear by the jeans comfortable and just a bit warmer that regular jeans but the kevlar really works. My son laid down his sport bike recently and the inside of his knee nailed the pavement ..Denim was ripped to shreds. Don't fool youself into thinking regular jeans offer any protection. Kevlar underneath shows almost no signs of abbrasion and he ended up with a bit a bruise but no skin abrasion whatsoever.

Needlass to say he will be ordering a new pair. Sometimes I wear leather on top if it is cool( don't like to freeze the boys) the the Draggin jeans are underneath. Leather versus Kevlar Kevlar wins every time beacause leather can and will tear first.
