Moms allegedly brawl at Chuck E. Cheese
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080303/ap_o...g5xyQqE0qcE1vAI

NATICK, Mass. - A child's birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant was cut short after a fight broke out between two mothers. Natick police said the mom of the 9-year-old birthday boy apparently became enraged because the other woman's son was "hogging" an arcade game.

Sgt. Paul Thompson said Catherine Aliaga, 38, and Tarsha Williams, 33, both of Boston, would be summoned into court to answer charges of simple assault and battery stemming from the scuffle.

Thompson told the MetroWest Daily News that police received a number of 911 calls about the fight Saturday night.

He said what started as a birthday celebration turned into a "birthday melee."

Having spent my fair time at the home of the pizza serving rat, all I can say is that it is a wonder that there are not more complete psychotic break-downs among the parents there.

Thats funny, I miss little league games i used to take my son. The parents and grandparents were more fun to watch than the kids.

We are soccer parents on a travel team and have noticed a real change in the sideline behavior Moms at the younger levels, they are much more aggressive and much more "into" the soccer, and not just cheering or defending their kids.

My theory is that today's U-6 and U-8 soccer mom's are the first generation of soccer Moms who PLAYED the game as little girls. These ladies were on those first travel teams and have as much emotionally invested as the famous little-league and hockey Dads who are reliving their youth through their kids.

I can't help but wonder which video game caused the incident. Back in my day, I'd kill a man to get my ups at Ms. Pacman

They otta put a jello pit in for the cat fights. This place is about 15 mi. from my house. I should send my smokin' hot kick boxer wife in there to hammer these chicks. I sense a new career for her on the horizon.

I hate that place. They should be strickened from the face of the earth. I've been to 3 of the worst birthday parties in my life at Chuck E. Cheese. Horrible pizza, stupid animated characters and screaming kids, what a combination.

You got to go in with the right mind set. Take a good book, order up some soft drinks and totally block out the noise. I'm very good at blocking out noise. As I'm sure the wife will testify to

I often take my children there, they love it. Personally, i will take Chuck e Cheese over Wall Mart any day. Now there's a place that i truly hate.

I agree. When my kids were younger we all enjoyed an afternoon at CCs. (By the way, they have a 2 beer limit). I always brought a book and just relaxed as the kids had a blast. It's really easy to tune out all the noise if you have rraised kids.
