I have had an account on evilbay for over a year that was the last time I thought "I had to have" Well now I want to bid on this bike http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Triu...bayphotohosting but then I see it in another section for much more starting bid and auction ending two days later WTF, excuse my language! What is the GAME here does this guy already know what he has to have but is to dumb to post a buy it now price? Please edumacate me!

smells like a scam to me, seen it before on there.
Upon further thought the guy may have messed up as a new seller and not set a reserve so he listed it again starting at what he wants for it. In any case a 0 rating is always a red flag and cause to be careful. I would ask about paying when you go to pick it up. We all had a 0 at the start so it isn't always a problem but in this case I would be careful.

Thanks, I am nervous as can be about the whole thing anyway. I know people do honest transactions every day, but I don't want to be on of the "this guy I know" stories!

Thats exactly what I am saying. It may be fine but I do see some red flags. We sell on Ebay all the time and are honest but unfortunately that isn't always the case.

If you look at the listing it states he will take cash in person.I agree with Ian, he probably messed up and didn't put in a reserve price.He had better end one listing or he"s gonna ****** somebody off!
