Just want to say hello to all and introduce myself. I haven't ridden a cycle since '84, looking forward to getting back on one. I plan on purchasing an America in the next month or so. Had to tie up a few things first. Recently moved to the Alabama gulf coast from the Midwest. Looks like perfect cycle riding country and weather here. Hope to chat with many of you @ my new cycle life. Again, hello!

Far Out! Be careful. Those first 10,000 miles or so can be real butt burners. You'll love the America of Speedmaster. Both are great bikes to "get back on" with.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

Again, hello!
I got back into bikes in 2004 last rode in 1970 !!.
Yamaha TDM850 for the first two years an a BA from August 2006.
Didn't take long to get back into it and if you're a car driver you should have accrued the road sense by now as well as the awareness that will help to keep you safe.
Welcome aboard !

Oh ....and contrary to what others may tell you.....BA's are the senior bike, the Speedy is just a poor copy, and NO ...THE BLACK ONES ARE NOT THE FASTEST !

If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.

Nah the America was the rough draft and the Speedmaster was the refined finished product.

Welcome aboard neighbor. Not so much gulf coast in this state so either you're on the Mobile side or you're pretty close to member Ramsound who's just over the FL line. Best motorcycle museum in the country just outside Birmingham and great riding up north, especially in my area. Get the Triumph you like and let's ride.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)
