My old Speedy got sold at the salvage auction yesterday and I wasn't the one the bought it. In fact, I sort of forgot that it was going to auction...

I had been watching it on their website and for the past six weeks they've pushed back its auction date by a week. I just forgot to check late last week to see if it was pushed back again. It wasn't and I missed the auction.

I've sold off a lot of the bits that were on the bike, and I have a new bike in the garage, but it was still in the back of my mind to see if I could get the Speedy back. Too late now. Oh well, I hope who ever bought it fixes it and just doesn't part it out.

I still have a new front tire and my Scepter exhaust for sale in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

Hopefully I'll be back on a Triumph in the not too distant future.

You should pm atpeacewithbonnie about the tire as he's very likely in the market for a front skin after his misfortune. busted rim rant

Have no idea. The website only shows that it was sold. The insurance company was going to let me have it back for $1500, so my guess is that it had to have gone for that amount at a minimum.
