Hi plp just a quick question about to eliminate snorkle and put a mesh on hole good or bad ? going on dyno next week to be jetted should I also eliminate A/I before hand sorry for the newbie questions

get a k&n filter cut the bottom out cut a matchin hole in your airbox there only plastic i used a wood drill an a rough round file lose the snorkell if yu think the filter is lettin air in around top an bottom put some door sticky draught excuder around the top an bottom.dont think yu need mesh.be careful when drillin bottom of filter yu dont shoot through an damage the filter!!i havent removed the ai yet!as i havent noticed any blueing yet!it does pop a bit on the decel but i quite like it sounds like a real racer!!

no need for mesh, i never had problems when i did it to my bike. if you rejetted already for a after market exhaust you should be ok jetting wise, or good enough for the dyno which will tell you what needs to be tweaked
