Well, after discovering that my bike looked a little cross eyed with the front turn signals still mounted on the controls after I installed new drag bars, I decided I needed to move them! Go figure. I bought some used rear turn signals from Fishercat and proceeded to get to work. I made this bracket from .5" plain electric weld 1/16" wall tube that is 12" across (same distance as the rear lights). Added some hollow threaded rod on the ends, as well as a fancy bracket that mates with the holes in the bottom clamp. Then I removed the posts from the rear turn signal housings, drilled out the threads so that they would slip over the hollow threaded rod ends. Here it is test fitted on the bike. And a picture of the mount detail. When it is done, the wires will run through it, and out a hole near the bottom of the bracket out of sight. Now, I just need to polish the heck out of it, and send it out for chrome. I will post pictures when it is finished. Thanks Fishercat for the parts. I knew my years as a metal model maker for Ford would come in handy! Also please accept my apologies for a lack of beer bottles in the pictures.

Ok, a few more pictures of the ready for chrome bracket. I know others have used aftermarket turn signals for this type of mount, but i love the look of the factory bullet turn signals. Plus they are nice and visible. I might be convinced to make another one or two if anyone is interested. You will have to provide the factory (rear) turn signals. I wish I had a TIG welder. If I had one, I would have made the whole thing out of high grade stainless and forgone the chrome.

Don't get me wrong, they do the job and do it quite well. But I wouldn't say I like them. I don't hate them; I haven't felt the needed to change them over the past 6 years. But I do have some Kuryakyn retro bullets to go on this year.

Got to admit I hate the position of the stockers, far too Harleyish. Heres where mine are moved to.
I like your position as well, anywhere off the bars. Thanks God we all like different stuff on our bikes. Cheers Chris
All the best

Yes I will. When I installed it, I was in a hurry to go on a ride wile the temps were briefly in the upper 40's.
As for the T bars, those are 8 inch rise and 2 inch pull back. Actually the picture makes them look funny but they are not all that tall when you are on the bike. I am 6' tall but also have a big reach (should have been a boxer) and they are very comfortable for me.
