A friend's folks own this spot and he told me today about their bike nights, including vendors door prizes, etc.

Starts on March 12th.

We will be there, here is a link if anyone is interested.

Me (b717doc) and John (Big Poppy) are planning on being there on the night of the 12th...we're coming from Marietta...We had a blast at Mulligans on Sunday...they offer a bike wash, and sometimes lingerie parties...You should meet us there one Sunday...it's on Roswell road in Marietta...Just a "hole in the wall", but it's ours......

I checked the menu ("wutdayeatdair" - as they say in the SC Piedmont). Might be worth a jaunt down while I'm down that way at rally time. Blues B good 2.

Hold your breath waiting for the BA.com patch. It will arrive only after you have forgotten you ordered it. (but worth the wait once it arrives)

Dang that's a long haul from Hiram...especially on a week night, I hate the perimeter, and the whole I-85 / 316 thing, my least favorite part town...simply cant get there from Hiram until after like 8 or 9 at night, hate sitting in I-85 North traffic gridlock....lets see, what else can I find to cry about? Oh yeah, I HATE Wednesdays....

And good food and good times were had by all. In the end it was atpeacewithbonnie(Wade), LynchPhoto(Gordon) and a coworker (Tom), my wife and me. Probably 300 bikes and around 400 people. Near as I could tell 5 or 6 Triumphs, a scrambler, A Thruxton, a couple Daytonas, Gordo's Speedmaster (which, notably is hard to see and appreciate in the dark, being black) and my Blue and White America (Vera Lynn II). Lots of door prizes, but the big winner of the night was Wade, who got all the Harley stuff that everyone else won because his better half rides a Harley.

I did remember that I had a camera, too late, after Gordon and Tom had gone, but did get a shot or two of Wade and I, which I will post when the photopost comes back.

If you are in the neighborhood on a Wed. night, it is worth stopping in (please note that this is only to avoid the prepositional ending).

Thom, glad I finally got to meet your better half. Wade, great to meet you and share a meal and some B.S.. Thanks for making the drive. Tom and I really enjoyed ourselves. It is good to have a bike nite close to the house, was a bit chilly on the way home in a perforated jacket. Oh and the food was really good too!! All in all, good times... ride safe.... Gordon

Ok , I'm home , it's 11:45 . Fun to meet you guys (and gal). Thanks Gordon my hero for sacrificing yer Harley shirt and Tom for sacrificing yer Harley doo rag . I know how much they meant to you .
Thom , you gotta let me proof the photo by the sign , vanity you know . My hair was all messed up .
I go to bed now with my favorite new Harley shirt on and my favorite new Harley doo rag on my head , he kinda look like Uncle Jemima wit that thing on his head all wrong .
I will wear it with pride to the Rally now that I am bona fide doo rag man . Missed ya , Mark , but that's OK 'cause you may have got my shirt and doo rag .
Sweet Dreams ,

Stop n go for 15 miles , or 2 hours , whichever comes first . I HATE traffic . Wednesday PM is bad for a bike nite , some folks have to work the next day .

Stop and go for 15 miles? That's what we make berms and those gaps between cars for!

Also, of course, there are hundreds of alternate routes, but one has to know them to make use of them. I traversed the same distance from nearly the same point and only sat at one light and one stop sign. Easy enough since it is my home turf, but when you do not know, the clogged arteries it is.
