Has anyone found a kit that lowers the pegs? I'm working on a custom setup for my TBA. I'm 6'2" and feel a little cramped at times. I've searched around for other forums on this and for kits sold, but couldn't find anything. What do you guys know?
Thanks
Aaron

This might be easier. Thruxton shocks are 1" longer and will raise the seat height.

Check out the crash guard at http://www.newbonneville.com. You could mount hiway pegs on the crash guard at whatever position is most comfortable to you.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

After some serious research, I've come accross Modre. He seems to be the answer. Lowers the pegs 2" and everyone that is on the T-Rat forum loves it. Anyone know what this kit runs? I've emailed him, I just want to know what this guy is about and if anyone has dealt with him.

I'm with Brian on this one. Not just that it may be easier to raise than lower, my concern is that lowered pegs would seem (in my untrained mind) to make contact with the road much sooner. If that were the case, and if you ever go around a bend, it would seem to be something to avoid.

It doesn't necessarily mean dropping the pegs straight down. All I need is more leg room, so forward I would think would work alright as well. I thought about the cornering clearance as you have mentioned. I think if I do a diagnal drop of about 1.5" I'll still be on the safe side.

Have you thought about seat modification? A custom foam/get job could move your seating position back an inch or more effectively increasing your leg room. You could add pull back risers if you wanted to move the bars back.

I just finished machining some stainless to lower the pegs around 1.5" I'll see what they feel and look like when I get home. Unless the woman expects a night out, then I'll have to do it saturday morning. The seat idea is also good if I still need more room.
