is it good to run velocity stacks on our bikes for everyday use?

Good, no,since there is no filtration at best they have a screen to keep the big stuff out. Won't matter in the short term though. In the long run it could shorten the life of your top end. That depends a lot on how dust and dirty your area is. The more dust, the more dirt that goes through those stacks and acts like sand paper in your cyl.

Not a huge difference from what I have seen personally but I never did a before and after dyno to what kind of in crease in power you get if any.

dont see it making that much of a difference, not like we have huge motors with tons of compression. not worth reducing engine life imho
