HI GUYS JUST did baffle job on my 36" fish tails NO WELDING NEEDED i got 2" harley baffles the ones i got were14" long 2" on two sides narrow in the middle. i used a die grinder and cut 5 slites down the two" part then taped the slits smaller pushed down the pipes hard with a sotket and long extension bang to the end of the fish tail and you are done.  ps fit nice and tight wont lossen up. later pappy

Where did you get the 36" tails? I used to have a link to iron city cycles, but apparently it doesn't work anymore.

EBAY there is only one guy that sells them that are 36" all others are 30" i for got the guys name but cow tiper knows it .Look under fishtail exaust PS IN JOY THE SOUND PAPY AKA POPST

Biker's Choice is where I got mine. They are paughco 36". I think they were around $80.00 for the set. They may have changed since it's been about a year since I bought mine.

POPST, which fishtails did you get, the straight ones or the muffler style ones?

I got the stright ones,then installed the baffles in them. i raped muffler packing material around them then raped SS wire around the packing to hold it in place then i put a socket the size of the baffle with a long extension and bang it to the end of the fisk tail,sounds great.
later POPS"T a oldie but a goodie
PS if you are going to use 2" you have to cut 5 slits at the end of the baffles.note get the baffles that have 2" on both ends they fit tight.

Yeah, I found the ones on ebay, but i've been a little hesitant buying from ebay. I've bought some things before, but the last few times have been dissappointed with the quality. I'm guessing you're pretty happy with yours?

Got my fish tails from DEBRIX.COM looked at them on ebay first then just ordered directly from them. They are SLOW shippers so keep that in mind. I think it took almost 3 weeks! I am with Soren I want some picks to see what ya did sounds like a good plan.

I witch i could i just get by useing the computor,(old school for sure) 65 years old and still rideing a motorcycle. i had a hard time leaning the computor but i can still ride with the best of them just a lot slower and road smarter. HA HA had to add that in lol. LATER POPST AKA PAPY
