Just thought I'd share that haha...looked outside and saw a Triumph sitting in my yard--even though it has a flat tire and dead battery it still made me jump for joy just knowing its gonna be spring soon LOL Lee

Rode to work yesterday in real thick fog taking it easy Visor on lid was useless. Arrived at work looked down at front of leather jacket and it was white. I had frost on my jacket. My fingers were cold but that morning ride sets me up for the day.
Every day the weather just is getting better I feel your joy. Getting on my BA makes me smile especially when the sun is shining. Then is ceases to be a smile and becoes a maniacal grin of extreme pleasure. Those who dont ride can never know that feeling I feel sorry for them........No I dont hehehehe.

Oh is it ever..... Been for my first ride of the year today!!! And my back isn't hurting more than it normally does after the painkillers have worn off.....

well i done a number on my back friday and again on monday, so no riding for me for a while ,and its bloody sunny out .its a cruel world out there ,but with pain killers and scotch (i usually like ice in it but these,ll do) it certainly is great to be alive (and somewhat stoned too )

I had a heart attack the Saturday before mothers day this year.That realy put things into perspective,every day is truly a great day and spring is just around the corner

Good to hear from you guys (and of course everyone else with a reply)...been good here (had some pc issues that Phil AS ALWAYS helped to fix)-- the starting problems were caused by a couple blown fuses due to the busting out of my headlight by a crazed ex (shoulda never left the bike at her house I guess haha)...of course my lawless @$$ couldn't resist riding around with no headlight for a couple months which of course ended up in a $300 bill from my ever eager local Triumh dealer haha...anyhoo, on the ride home, just as I get back on the Rez, my tire goes flat (glad it was 2 miles from home though, thank you Creator)--bikes been parked ever since, and of course my soul has withered along with my battery power haha. The GA rally is up in the air as it coincides with my finals week at school...could we possibly bump that up a week Chy? Moe, as an educated man I thought you knew we lived in log cabins, not teepees? Us Tsalagi are less nomadic and a helluva lot smarter than our Plains counterparts (no offense to any of you Lakota/Cheyenne/Crowe brothers and sisters haha)..man, I SERIOUSLY hope to stomp butt during finals week and at least pack it up and ride down on Saturday...

Glad to hear you're back in the saddle again, Gina. I've had back problems also (who hasn't) and it isn't any fun. Funny thing, even when my back is killing me, it doesn't bother me to ride. To the rest of you on this thread, RIDE ON!

Seriously, glad the pain wasn't too bad but don't overdo it. It's OK having time off work when your fit, it's miserable when you ain't.
If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.

After being run off the road onto the shoulder yesterday by a woman who wanted to occupy the space I was in-yes, it is great to be alive. I never went down but did have to change my pants.
My left leg was even with her front bumper on a 6 lane road. I wear a yellow full face helmet and yellow and black jacket, she had her windows rolled down and it was a beautiful sunny day- she had to see me. Stoopid woman! I thought about running her down but it's not worth it-too many fools in the world.
