I was going through some junk mail and noticed the NRA sent me a membership card. LOL..I dont own a gun...WTF? I start reading and its a letter stating how my 2nd ammendment rights are at risk and I needed to fill out the attacthed survey and send it in ASAP. OK!...Ill check it out. I get to the end and guess what...for my opinion to be heard I need to pay...oops...it fell in the shredder. Bottom line is it was a recruitment letter. No offense if your an NRA member  ...its was just funny!

I'm am NRA member , I feel your pain , they wear me out with emails and postal mail . I suppose that's where all the trees are going , mail campaigns . ......happiness is a belt-fed weapon .

I'm getting really tired of the AARP junk mail. It's bad enough being this old without them constantly reminding me.  Besides, if I want to join a socialist pressure group I'll change party affiliation. 
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

That's the main reason I let my membership lapse many years ago.
Always wanting money and not ashamed of fear-mongering.
Like any single issue political group, they end up with some strange bedfellows.

My dad passed away in 05 and he is still getting mail and phone calls from all his political favorites. I just turned 50 my last birthday and the AARP has started sending me their junk. I have never made any inquiries or contacted them in any way. Talk about saving the trees. How many forrests end up in the garbage each year due to unsolicited mail? Thank goodness for tree farms Huh!

Thats funny. I have been getting AARP cards and mail since I turned 21  . Im barely 37 now...

Same here I have been getting AARP crap for at least 20 years and I am now 45 years old. They must really be looking for new memberships!

NRA can get a little annoying...I'm over halfway paid for a lifetime membership, and they have the audacity to ask me for extra money? For crying out loud!
