A wonderful days riding today, even had the America out and I think every person who owned a bike in the Fylde Coast must have been out today. Went through to Glasson Dock (Bacon Butty eh Funkletrumpet) then through to Caton (Bull Beck) then on up to Hawes and then stopped at the Bridge (Kirby Lonsdale) everywhere was heaving and you were sat at the side of the road waiting for a bike to go before you could park up..
So anyone else had a good day??

Hope everyone is sitting down .... I got out too on the America!!! It was dry so no bubberdybubberdy at all. Weather was suprisingly mild (considering it was only supposed to be 12 degrees). Stopped for a greasy spoon sos & bacon butty and a cuppa. Managed a couple of hours out before coming home to get on with some work. As you say, lots of bikes out down here too. I managed to have two near misses before I'd even got into town ... that's four miles away - I LOVE mini cabs, don't you? THEY'RE ALL WANKERS!!!!!

That is fantastic. I am headed out myself in a few minutes. It is windy, but 70 ish degrees and no bloody humidity. Think I will go for some Indian food. My favorite. Ride safe y'all.

Hey forgot to mention also pulled a pocket rocket out of the hedges on the back roads leading to Caton, he was alright, just his pride I think more than anything, said he had braked but the road is so smooth on the bend, he said it did not grip, at the speed he come past me no tyre gonna grip

Its in the 70s (farenheit) in south Mississippi USA. Bikes out in droves yesterday and today. Put about 150 miles on the TBA yesterday with Fatrat on his FLR. Gonna slap some lub on the chain and head out again a little later today. Yeah! Baby, Yeah!!!

Firstly, Hi to everyone on here as this is my first post on here (so please go easy as i'm a fragile sort of person.)
What a great weekend! I wished i'd planned it a bit better but it was a treat going out on the speedmaster in the sun with my missus for a few hours with no real aim of getting anywhere quick and just riding for the ****** of it.
Mind you, judging by the amount of bikes out there today I think most of the UK had the same idea.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Buncha braggards. I have been without my bike for almost 3 weeks now. Still waiting for apes and cables. I did see a dead deer on the beach today.

Ray, I just posted about the run and camp at Dent. Very interested but need to get some leave approved before I can say yay or nay.
Geoff, I negotiated the roundabouts beautifully in Milton Keynes before the car driving public made their weekly pilgrimage to the temple of B&Q and Ikea.
I managed to get out on the A5 up towards Hinkley, back down to Warwick, we had some lunch and headed home. All in all about 120 miles. Not exactly the "long way round" but a bit of a bonus to get out in the sun in February.
Anyhow thanks for the welcome folks.

Small world, I wasn't a million miles from Hinkley myself this afternoon. Who'd have thunk, 1/3rd of the way through Feb and half the bikes in the country were out and about. Global warming? Bring it on!! He||, I'll be long dead before the webbed feet folk of East Anglia are under water.

And don't forget with the gas and electric companies putting up their prices, the global warming might actually allow OAP's to afford to eat in the winter.

Welcome Graham, see you at Dent. We had weather over here as well, I had a little run over to a friends house, he has a Harley, but it was up on a stand, so off I went on my own. I got to try out my Davida helmet and tinted safety glasses from work. quite comfie and my big nose was not as cold as I thought it would be .

Sunday first club run of the year 10 bikes 14 members. Dry day roads clear. A short run about a 100 miles through some of the best scenery with some good company. Sometimes life is good.

Didn't see you at the Bridge Ray, I've not seen that many people there in ages. A half hour queue at the Butty Van in February he must have thought it was Christmas. Had a pleasant hour sat outside the Ship in Caton watching all the bikes go past, better than watching the telly. Hope its fine next week, fat chance, Cheers Chris

Hi Chris
Yep I passed on a brew at the bridge, the queue was bad, also met a guy up there on another America, who said he would turn up for the weekend, told him we would probably just have run to the bridge on Sunday morning, before everybody who has just booked the Saturday night disappears home. will give you a tinkle if i'm up that way next weekend and the weather is as good

It's a beautiful day in the Ozarks (southern Missouri), too. 30 degrees (F), freezing rain, about a half inch of ice on everything with more of the same tonight. Thank goodness no tornados in the forcast!
