I was wondering how comfortable or not the speedmaster seats are? Do they compare to the OEM america seat?

I have a solo seat. I can't tell any comfort difference with or without an airhawk pillow seat. Maybe I got lucky and got a good one that was built when the production run of foam was suited for my butt? I don't know.
The stock Speedmaster gunfighter seat was mighty uncomfortable to me.

I found the speedmaster gunfighter style touring seat to be more confortable than the america solo saddle. Opinions may vary with rider.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

And a +1 here too. Over 30k miles on it, and no complaints here even after 600+ mile days. I may never put the GF back on though, since I aquired a Touring Seat, and can't tell any difference. Added a sissy bar/luggage rack and the Touring Seat, and I think the look and package is complete, even if I do still ride 99% alone.
No way could I see paying CORBIN prices for one of those - I can't get that much better than this. It's not possible.

I found the SM stock seat to be quite comfortable. The passenger part sucks though. But since I don't carry a passenger it doesn't matter.
I bought a Corbin solo to set the bike up as solo only, and as good as the stock seat is, the Corbin's way better.

My stock SM gunfighter seat is fine for me for about 100 miles or so. After that it gets a bit uncomfortable for me. I'm looking to get a corbin solo when my butt tells me it's worth the extra $$$.

The seat on my SM is ok, it's the seating position that gets to me... I really would like my feet more under me. mary

It may be too late if you've already purchased ebay item, but I had one for a short while, the main difference is that it puts your butt further forward compared to the America single. That didn't suit me due to being 6'3.
TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

One thing you'll need to do before switiching is that you'll need to get a post for the seat. Soren

Sit on a Speedmaster and see how it feels. I'm 6'4" and I got used to it pretty easily.
