I may not be the first to comment on it but, I recently noticed something in a "motorcycle Cruiser" magazine ad

I don't usually pay much attention to ads like this but this one caught my eye.

A Speedmaster lying on its side, apparently off the road and in the weeds with a "Nasty Little Man Who Hates Motorcycles" running away. It was a Progressive Insurance ad.
They could have better used a picture of some other bike as far as I’m concerned.

It's finally been dry here on the CA coast and although it was between 41 and 37 degrees this morning on my ride in to work, It was still real nice to get back on the bike after ~3 weeks of rain that ended with two days of patchy black ice on the mountain (over the hill) road to the peninsula. One of the CHP motor cops that meet at the local bagel shop for breakfast said a bike went down yesterday (on the road over the hill) on black ice. The ambulance that responded stopped on the crown of the road and slid sideways into the patrol car that was already there. Black ice - that’s a lousy way to go down.

Hope everyone is doing well this evening,

Gary

I noticed that a year or so ago when that ad came out. They're all out to get us! Especially those of us that ride the best bikes on the planet.
