You know as I was out ridding the bike today I noticed a lot of womens stores.. Now dont get me wrong i am all for women having their own place ot buy things... However I feel we needs a MENS store.. At first I thought we did, but women are invading at a high rate, I al talking places like Lowes, Home Depot, and the tool section of Sears.. So I feel we should add a second story to Lowes or where ever and make it men only.. Say have a recliner at the end of each isle with a remote and a big screen tv. Sell men stuff like chips, beer, lumber, power tools.. You know guy stuff.. There will be no girls stuff in there. only a few diffrent colors of paint, and no cumquat is not one of them. Anymore ideas?
Dont like what you see??? Big red X in the top right of your screen will fix it!

got to have a big automotive section too, with a fine selection of things to use on motorcycles, not just pedal covers and glow sticks for the Tokyo Drift crowd

YEAH! Great idea, Matt! Now who can we get to bring this up at the next Lowes' shareholders meeting?
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

OK, so you have what it would take to draw a male customer base, but short of bouncers how to keep the women out?
No coupons, no clearance, no sales of any kind, and a large number of full length fun house mirrors that pack on the pounds. (I did run this list by my lovely wife, she thinks it might work.)

See I don't agree with keeping women out... I love looking around diy stores at stuff. And have never been to a 'ladies' evening. I even had work trying to send me on a make over day when we had a new uniform. I wasn't sure whether to be offended or not, but refused point blank to go. Don't read crappy magazines, don't give a fig what some stupid airhead of a 'celebraty' is doing this week, in rehab or not, seeing this bloke or not, I just don't care. I'm at my happiest on the bike, at a bike junk sale (today I went to a Classic Jap Bike Show and bought a tank and a cylinder head.......for a TigerCub. And I don't even own a TigerCub...yet.) or just hanging out with the guys. And yes, looking at tools and stuff. (For next week's pointless buy, I'm off to the Bristol Classic Bike Show and looking for a piston for a TigerCub, to polish up and put on my book shelf) I can do girlie and do normally wear lip gloss, but only as it's practical. My open face helmet makes my lips really sore, and the gloss stops it. And I wore a dress to the Xmas party. But it was still hanging out with the guys as it was the TOMCC Xmas Party....

I dunno if it would work. At least in the US, we are not allowed to have mens clubs, schools for boys, etc because it is "sexist" and "discriminatory". Of course, if a male were to dare demand access to a lady's club, school, exercise place, etc he is branded a pervert.

There is at least one, all males club. The Freemasons. (although there are a very few lodges which are now allowing women.)There has been a number of references in current movies and books about them (mostly sensationalist crap), but they are really a bunch of good guys, hanging out and doing charity work. This group has been around almost 300 years!

Bullc*a*! "chips, beer, lumber, power tools.." are some of my favorite things to shop for...but sitting there watching a game or two if the chips and beer are free would be great, too ...except hockey or tennis Along with shopping for motorcycles, knives, which I seem to collect them for some unknown reason, also fabric, yarn and exotic food.. Then there's bike stuff.. someday I really must make a list of all the spare bike parts I have... so I don't buy them again... Ummm... so what was you guys problem? I thot that's what you did on weekends anyway... sit and down chips, beer and watch TV? mary

Or camp. And yet I'm a Guide Leader and we don't allow boys in. They can can bugger off to Scouts. But we can have male grown ups helping these days. Girls can join Scouts, but then where we meet there's Boys Brgade and they have no intention of ever letting girls in, but have women leaders... It's tricky...balancing the whole notion of notlookinglikeapervert. We get a criminal record check (yes I passed no problem before you ask...) as do all adult leaders in most youth organisations.

The Freemasons allow women just not in the meetings. Eastern Star is pretty big. "Well honey I am going to lodge now." "OK dear I am meeting the girls downstairs in a bit." Oh, the humanity of it all!.
Seriously though, if women's shopping were to be limited or regulated the economies of the free world would collapse. They spend 70% of all the money.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
