Here's a regular Bonnie with a hack:

And another with a BMW (Watsonian) style sidecar:

I have a BMW sidecar out in my shed that I had to go on my 64 R50. It sure doesn't look as cool as the one pictured there!

I thought it looked like a great take on a classic Steib...all of the Beemer rigs at Barber are fitted with Steib's. Here's another link to follow in pursuit of info: Hackpilot.com

Sidecars are definately cool ! I had a two (2) place on a Trophy (work those fittings trough THAT fairing) and it transported our family for some 40K miles, New Mexico, Colorado, etc...all the hot tourist destinations as well as carried groceries, went through snow, etc...it was fun...HOWEVER a sidecar ,over time, will warp your frame
and if set-up properly, does not go on and off like a set of "easy bags" ...Sidecars are GREAT, I have had three (3) rigs myself but they are definately to be viewed as a more permanant fixture and not just a temporal accessory.

Don't remember who, but it's been done. Handling with a sidecar is pretty weird though and takes getting used to, even with the BMW setup that has a driveshaft and brake to help balance the weight. There are a number of universal quick disconnect mounting kits around.

It helps the handling a bit. Back in the kickstart days, HD used to have an adjustable fork that adds 3 degrees of rake for when you have a sidecar attached. All that weight on one side does strange things when you accelerate or brake.

Yes, it turns riding into a real adventure. I often wonder how my Yamaha hack would have handled with a set of those leading link forks. As it is, I'm fairly certain that flyer the sidecar took during a left turn is what has the Mrs. on the outs with my driving.

Coz I wanted her forks and wheels for my America And I bet it cost her a lot more than I paid her for the wheels and forks

The very fact that their web site doesn't post any prices tells me you got a better deal on your Speedy front end.
