12 but I was at a bit of a disadvantage seeing as there was so many US specific questions. How was I supposed to know how many states there are???? (Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!!!!) I better go have another beer and help make my shattered ego feel a bit better.

Right. So the even numbered (2,4,6,etc.) pages are on the left.
Back to a 25.

Interesting
So you open the book and usually the first page you see is blank and I guess that would be considered page "0". Flip it over to the left and theres page 1 staring at you right in the face. Just a theory. Whata you think?

You open the cover and see the title page. fold that back and the back of that is the publication date, number of printings, etc. keep going and you see page one on the right side. Most books also start each chapter on the right side page. Probably something to do with the old idea that the left is the "sinister" side.

Right. The Latin root "sinistr", means on the left side.

I got 20 on that one. Yep! I really did! Not bad for a Yank, huh?! (and if they would'a played fair and asked some questions on that darn test about James Bond, Aston Martins, or EVEN John, Paul, George or Ringo, I'd a' scored even HIGHER!!!)

I did very well at the US test until I got bored with it and quit. I missed the a couple that asked what specific number amendment gave what particular right. I knew mow many amendments though and the Bill of Rights questions.I missed either 2 or 3 out of the 75 I did.

Only missed two on the US test...one because I can't recall both of my senators, and how would I know naturalization forms?
I do have issue with a couple questions (one is asked twice): "Where does freedom of speech come from? - The Bill of Rights"
Wrong. The rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights are all NATURAL rights; listed in the Bill of Rights to keep them protected from government legislation. A subtle but very important difference. (some of them haven't been protected as well as they should have, and speaking of cases currently before the Supreme Court...) The question about SCOTUS interpreting law; technically they interpret the Constitution as it applies to contested laws, in order to uphold or strike down those laws - again, a subtle difference.
