It looks like Fox Creek Leathers just increased the price of their jackets by about $45.

Yep, looks that way. Darn, and I was just thinking of buying one soon too! Still, it's good skin and one pays for quality.

Bummer..
I've been looking hard for a quality, lined, neck warmer, lotsa pockets, plain black jacket. I was pretty much set on the Fox Creek Bomber jacket even though I can't really afford it right now. Now it's even more $$$$!

I guess I'll have to make due with my genuine $20 ebay Navarre genuine Italian Stone design made in China jacket.

Again, Bummer!

You might try these:

CHILHOWEE

I have the naked leather racer. Very good quality, heavy leather.

If you want a great jacket for the money. I bought the Chilhowee Mid-weight racer (now about $94.) over 2 years ago and still think it's great. The zip out thinsulate liner also has a pull out neck warmer. The jacket is warm with the liner and not as heavy as the more expensive ones. The hardware is the same.

Thanks for the link, Bill, but I didn't see anything there that fits what I'm looking for.

Actually, "my genuine $20 ebay Navarre genuine Italian Stone design made in China jacket" fits my requirements, I'm just looking for something made of cow instead of patchwork chipmunk leather...

I'll tell ya, even with a $50 increase the FC jackets are a good buy.

As I've said on here before, I've "field tested" my FC jacket twice now, and both I and the jacket fared very well. I've encouraged friends to get their stuff, and I feel confident that the leather will protect them in a getoff.

Not to be crude, but don't be cheap about covering your ******. As someone once told me: "be willing to spend as much on gear a you would on skin grafts."

I just reduced the price of my Fox Creek Leather Jacket to $195. It is in perfect shape, size 46, and less than two years old. See my posting:
my classified ad for jacket

I lost a lot of weight and am buying another Fox Creek jacket that will fit me.
