Drove the Spyder up Malibu Canyon Road this past Sunday and to the Rock Store, Bob! After it rained the Sunday the week before, I had never seen the place as crowded as it was the other day.
I usually go to the Rock Store at least once a month. If you get there around 10:30 to noon, that's went all the cool old stuff like Meriden Triumphs, BSAs, Nortons, Panheads, Ironhead Sporties, Indians, Ariels, etc, are there. And this is about the time Leno will show up on something like that too.
Before that it's all the lastest sportbikes, and after that it's mostly one chromed-out modern Harley after another.
So, what's the story on this documentary?

I have yet, to visit the Rock Store, its on my top ten bucket list. I don't know anymore than whats on the website, the documentary should be fun to watch.

Any ol' time you guys are down this way on a Sunday, I'll take ya there! It really is quite the show. Hundreds and hundreds of bikes constantly comin' and goin'. And as I said, often there are some really rare old pieces that show up.

(now...I KNEW that "pieces" word had "Yeah, but do any BIKES show up" response written all over it...but NO, I HAD to go and use that darn "pieces" word anyway, didn't I?!)

Yeah! You DID, Ian!  BUT, you don't have one o' those Helmholtz Resonators "pieces" which can cause this sort'a thing to happen like Wade does, so THAT would naturally be easier for YOU! (I have absolutely NO IDEA what that meant, but it sure sounded good anyway!!!)

Pretty much the equal, a little smaller building and more out of the way. Nearly made my eyes water when Jay Leno rode in one day on a Velocette very much like my first bike. He even knew how to start it.

I was at the Rock Store on Saturday moring.. as crowded as I have ever seen it.. then went on to Neptune's Net.. as un-crowded as I have ever seen it.. got my lunch w/in 15 minutes
