I've been working on turning my '01 Bonnie into a cafe style ride that gives a nod to the Ace Cafe boys of yesteryear; I've always wanted a cafe racer and this was going to be it. Before I cut the fenders down to finish it off I took a couple of rides and discovered to my dismay that my repaired left knee isn't compatible with Norman Hyde's rearsets. Rather than cut it and end up with a lovely cafe garage queen I'm going back to a more stock, rideable bike. Here's where I got before reality set in:

To quote Mick: "you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need."

Dude that looks sweet. I don't think stock peg location would detract from the overall look.

I bought it off eBay and had a local trim shop change it for me.

Look's good, but for me sitting "in" the bike is far more comfortable than sitting "on" it...

I'd love to cutup my bonnie, but cant bring myself to do it.
