Just went to put on the stock bars/risers after removing the hi rise drag bars that the bike came with. (02 America)

Need to understand the routing of the throttle cables as they are way too tight to the point of not being able to fully turn the bars to right. Everything else is good.

I have them going over the turn signal and in front of the fork leg. The cross over and run under the left front side of the tank as is...

pics would be helpful.

Worst case is I cut an inch off the bar ends as the bars seem kinda wide.

Thanks

gb

You're saying that you have put stock America risers and bars on your America and the cables won't fit? If the cables are stock they should fit with no trouble. The America cables are longer than the Speedmaster's to accommodate the wider bars.

Over the signal, in front of the right fork tube and through the tree to the left side of the neck, through the plastic grommet thingie and under the center of the backbone to the carbs. Many have moved the cables to the right side of the neck to gain the length needed for new bars/risers as noted in this current thread Rivco Risers

Done... Cable re-route was a success..
Very similar to what you have in the pics.

Only difference is I tie wrapped on the bracket below the frame back bone.

Bars work with no binding at all...
