OP jmf Greenhorn Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 38 Central Pennsylvania	Got my pipes last week and put them on, but Dale forgot the jet kit. Found a little baggy of bolts, but no jets. Emailed Dale and he mailed them out, got them today. Started the bike up just to hear how it sounds and I am impressed. My question is are the shims with the jet kit needed or just the mains and pilots? 2004 BA AI removed, top snorkel out and Uni Filter (also 18t sprocket - much better on the highway). Big Jim

I decided not to let well-enough alone and swapped in Thunderbird Sport needles (no shims) which yielded zero improvements. Al

OP jmf Greenhorn Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 38 Central Pennsylvania	Installed the jets and shims over the weekend. Bike runs great and sounds like a Triumph should. The popping on decel that I had with my TOR's is also gone. I am very satisfied with the upgrade. Big Jim
