On the anniversary of Evel Kneviel's Caesars Palace jump, Robbie Maddison just made the world record jump of 322 ft in Las Vegas with the blessing of the Knievel family.

Holy smokes! Out of the blue he decided it wasn't good enough and he just did it again, almost the exact same distance.

bet it wasn't on an old Triumph or HD though. Probably some dirt bike with tons of travel. To me thats not as impressive.

Evel's longest jump was only 157 ft. 322ft is extremely impressive. He beat the current world record by almost 60ft.

Did you notice the look on his wife/girlfriend's face during the second jump? I think she understood how impressive it was. The acceleration route through the parking garage on knobby tires was pretty impressive too.

I thought the the best shot was from the cam he was wearing. You could really see how he was drifting to the left. Truely amazing!

Did you notice how close he came to that concrete pillar? These guys are using 250 2-strokes, maybe he needs to try that ATK Intimidator, a 700 2-stroke! Then he wouldn't need so long a run-up.

Check his site, it's a CR250. That's why he needs such a long run-up.

That second jump you can see the wind affect as it nearly took him off the ramp. At that speed and momentum there in the bone busting record too! Well done, a bit nuts but well done!

Its a CR500 2 stroke mounted in a modified 250 frame. At least that what he said during his pre-jump interview
