I'm planning to run the wiring through the bars, but have hit a brick wall with the front brake switch.
I know a lot of others have done this, and I'm interested in what you've done with the wires coming from this switch.
The only option I can see is to fold these 2 wires back and feed them under the bracket and into the throttle housing, but I don't really like that idea as they would effectively be bent double.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Steve

I did just that, here's a shot, hopefully you can see the wire. I left a little slack so it's not stressed. I may have drilled another hole, can't recall that detail.

Thats what I did. Ran the wire back into the existing hole and just tucked it out of the way. I dont have a pic and cant really get one right now. Bars are off the bike right now
A also ordered some of thiswire loom. Its nice stuff and easy to use. I went with the 1/2" stuff.

Mine looks similar to what ssjones did. I know I didn't drill any extra holes. I ran the wire back in where the origonal harness used to come out and into the same hole as the rest of the wires go.

Zmillan: I like that Roundit wire wrap. I had the link a long time ago but lost it. It looks like from reviews, it can be put on existing wires. I never like that automotive corrugated split loom stuff currently on my bike. This review said: >This is a very good product which allows you put a good >fitting wrap on wires that you already have connected and >do not feel like taking apart again. I would recommend >this to anyone. I'm going to order some, thanks! Quote:

Oh... THAT kind of wiring... thot you were talking about the nice neon signs ... like Miller's and Stroh's! The Harley bars have a dimple (because of the H_D wiring) and a hole , ran the wires thru, drilled another hole in the middle where the risers clamp, but on the bottom. Not elegant, but works. Havent' done the Speedy yet, but worked fine with the Harley... same wiring.... Going to try and find another set of stainless Heritage bars for the Speedy, they should be just right. Mary

Thanks, daughter gave that to me for Christmas in '03. She went to the nearby Yammy/Triumph dealer for Yamaha parts with her boyfriend. Talked them out of this wall poster.
