I have seen a few pics of the lowering blocks, it looks like a simple bracket. Am I missing something, it looks like something easily fab'd? Are there any other options for lowering the rear?

They are pretty simple. They extend the rear connection of your shock further back on the swing arm lowering the rear. Remember the travel of your shock is compromised so it is less muscular. You may drag your pipes on storm drains and large bumps.

Used short shocks on Wendys bike, lowered it 2" wath Hagon shocks. We like them. Had to cut the chain guard for clearance and the one tab on the Freak that holds the tool box had to be bent out of the way also for chain clearance. She does drag her pipes at times.

I have the 1-inch lower ICON shocks. They look similar to stock, but dampening is adjustable as well as spring pre-load. I only scrap pegs at this height.
TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.
